Error installing psycopg2 == 2.6.2

Question

I am having problems trying to install psycopg2 == 2.6.2. I installed postgresql 9.6. and I use virtualenv. Any help is appreciated.

This is a bug in psycopg2 2.6 . Fixed bug in psycopg2 2.7. Install the latest version to work with PostgreSQL 10.
