Change Web browser color Control File Explorer

So this question is NOT about how to change the background or other colors when browsing the web.

I use this control as a file browser. The problem is that the properties are very limited, and I'm looking to change various aesthetic properties such as font, background color, etc. Do I have the feeling that it can be tricky because guessing windows use some api shared with Windows Explorer?

However, is there a way to manipulate these properties?

EDIT: For clarity, some of the images below. The first shows my form with a built-in WebBrowser control - using it as a file browser. The second one shows how I would like to configure it - in this example, the color of the return line and font (made in GIMP) has changed.
