VS 2008 - Objects disappearing?

I have been using VS Team Team Team for several weeks. Over the past few days, I noticed that sometimes one of my objects / controls on my page just disappears from intellisense. The project is beautifully constructed, and the objects are still in HTML, but I still cannot find the object.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: For what it's worth, I know that if I close VS and then open it again, it will return.

I also have a number of issues with VS 2008. Who would suggest that I never need to select multiple controls in a web form ...

In any case, a lot has been fixed in Service Pack 1, which is now in beta. Maybe it’s worth installing it. This simplified the absolute positioning a bit. Of course, this is not your problem, but your correction may be there.

Visual Studio 2008 and the .NET 3.5 Framework Service Pack 1 ( beta ) are out of beta, maybe you can see

I sometimes get this in Visual Studio 2005.

The method I use to return the controls is to switch the web page between the code view and the design view. I know this is not a fix, but it is a little faster than restarting Visual Studio.
