VisualSVN is restored using TortoiseSVN

Using TortoiseSVN vs VisualSVN I am deleting the source file which I should not have deleted. Now this is not a train, because I can return the file from daily backup. However, I would like to restore it from SVN (VisualSVN) in order to return the story. However, I cannot figure out how to do this.

Does anyone know how to recover a file from VisualSVN either using the VisualSVN interface or from the latest version of TortoiseSVN?

What you need to do is the following:

  • Right-click the folder in which you think.
  • Select Show Journal under TortioseSVN
  • Find the check that the file has been deleted in
  • Go to the list and find the file
  • Select Revert Changes for this version to restore.

Did you delete it only locally or did you delete it? In the latter case, try checking the previous version.
