Visual Studio is equivalent to Delphi bookmarks

I have been using Delphi for many years, and although I have now switched to Visual Studio, I still fondly remember numbered bookmarks ( CTRL + K + 1 to set bookmark 1, CTRL + Q + 1 to go to bookmark 1) .

Is there a Visual Studio equivalent? In Delphi, I found dumb bookmarks in VS. I want to add a bookmark and then go back to a specific place in the file.

DPack can give you numbered bookmarks in VisualStudio.

Ctrl K + Ctrl K - Add / Remove bookmark online Ctrl K + Ctrl N - Go to next bookmark | Ctrl K + Ctrl P - Go to previous bookmark

There are other options. Look in the menu Edit-> Bookmarks,

There are more comments on your original question than the actual answer, but Delphi is much easier to remember (and type) keyboard shortcuts than what you have been quoting for quite some time:

Set Bookmark 1: Ctrl-Shift-1

Go to Bookmark 1: Ctrl-1

If you ever come back to Delphi, it will make your life a lot easier!;)

Just to reinforce Lars Truens response. DPack is GExperts as a visual studio plugin. I found a lot of help when moving from Delphi to Visual Studio.

There is a bookmark window. Go to the View / Bookmark Window menu (Ctrl + K, Ctrl + W).

Here you can see all your bookmarks and rename them. This is much better than just seeing numbers.

For some reason, they don't allow you to order this list by clicking on the column heading, but you can drag and drop bookmarks and place them in the order you want.

I use:

CTRL-F2 toggle bookmark F2 next bookmark SHIFT-F2 previous bookmark CTRL-SHIFT-F2 clear all bookmarks

By the way, after using Visual Studio for many years, I just found a couple of months ago that you can press ALT and drag the mouse to mark a column or square.
