Obout controls in C # .Net

Does anyone use Obout elements in C # .Net? How do you rate these controls, especially Grid Control?

I was very impressed with them. Of all the other control sets (infragistics, telerik), this is the only (more than) respectable I worked with, it was 1) free! and 2) easy !. The only caveat for Obout is that I am having trouble combining some of these controls and some AJAX components.

Infragistics is certainly my favorite (my comment that Obout is β€œlightweight” compared to the heavy use of viewstate in some Infragistics controls), but it takes about 1000-1500 places, so it can become expensive if you have great team.

I love it for their lightness. Their licensing policy is very fair (paid after a free upgrade for a lifetime), and they also provide (free) education licenses.

However, I had to use Developer Express in one of my projects and never look back. Very powerful and not as bloated as Infragistics.

Basically, if you decide to meet you, you probably won't regret it.

I like obout for their simplicity and functionality. They have pretty good documentation and samples of almost everything. And they are cheaper than others (Componentart / Telerik). I am currently testing their Grid control (after I abandoned the Componentart grid for client-side functionality) and find it pretty simple.

I acquired a license several years ago and have been using it since then. The support is very good and the controls are great. I looked at some other suppliers (telerik, etc.), but did not move due to the transfer of cost. The good thing with obout is that I bought it a few years ago, and they still give me free updates. This may change in the future, but at the moment it is wonderful. Products work properly and they always make software updates.

This is the first time I've worked with controls. I previously worked with telerik controls, and so I had a good opportunity to compare these two sets of controls. I would prefer Obout for its light weight and functionality.

I used my tree for the project. Not bad for free control.

I have been using my calendar for almost two years. Suddenly it stops working in Google Chrome (Vr: 17.0.963.56 m). Even their live demos do not work, try to scroll several months several times, and it will simply hang with the error "Uncaught TypeError: this is not a Date object".

I e-mailed the company twice about this issue, as it cited my site, and I force customers to contact me constantly. I'm afraid there is no answer yet !! Very upsetting !!

This is a shame because the tool is in excellent condition ... If they could at least admit the mistake and assure me that they are working on a solution that would be something, but staying in the dark shows a complete lack of basic customer service ethics.
