Scrolling jQuery Animations

I'm not sure what to name the effect, but can someone point me to a library that will help me make the same effect as this website?

http://www.makr.com

Basically, it moves up the line at the top of the page with the mouse. A code snippet, preferably jQuery, can help if there is no such specialized effects library for it.

I'm not sure I need to start another topic, but can someone help me with a little jQuery snippet to achieve all the Makr UI effect?

You can animate page scrolling using jQuery.

$('html, body').animate({ scrollTop: $(".middle").offset().top }, 2000);

You can also try the simple jquery plugin ( AnimateScroll ), which has been well appreciated by many!

I just use:

 $('body').animate({ 'scrollTop': '-=-'+<yourValueScroll>+'px' }, 2000);

There is a jquery plugin for this. It scrolls the document to a specific element, so that it will be ideally located in the middle of the viewing area. It also supports animations to make the scroll effect look super smooth. Check out AnimatedScroll.js .
