Start Web Development Plan 9

I would like to program for some time for the Plan 9 operating system. I would really like to play with a web application. Of course, the only language I know for Plan 9 is C, and it doesn't seem ideal for web development. I also understand that it does not start apache or mysql either.

What is the best way to start coding web applications on Plan 9?

Check out Kenji Arisawa Pegasus ( paper ) for plan 9.

Plan 9 can only have a reputation for C-only, but several langauges have been ported, including Scheme, Ruby, Python, and Perl. Check out the Contrib Index for code.

Finally, start reading the documents so you can understand his philosophy. If you want to do network stuff, you need the 9p file protocol.

Werc is a web infrastructure designed to work in Plan 9 (and Plan 9 from user space). It is built using the rc shell and follows the classic Bell Labs tool philosophy.

Instead of a database, in accordance with the Unix tradition, it uses text files stored in the file system.
