Creating Custom GnuCash Reports Using a Schema

Question

Are there any resources that show how to create custom GnuCash reports? I do not know the intricacies of Schema, but I know the basics of Lisp based on a remake with Emacs. Is there a site that outlines the GnuCash reporting API, ideally, with a little explanation of the Schema?
