Does iPhone support XML-RPC, is there any open source infrastructure I can use?

Check the source of the Wordpress application. They can use XML-RPC. :)

"Airsource Ltd" is really really incredibly mistaken about this document. This document is specific to Mac OS X and NOT iPhone. In fact (almost) all Apple iPhone documentation is hidden behind the login page and the license agreement. Most technologies that relate to the document (such as AppleScript) do not even exist on the iPhone.

Amit, you will have Zero luck if you follow Airsource's advice. However, you will do fine if you do it like " Lounges " and go into the Wordpress source code. It looks like they downloaded their own XMLRPC library for use on the iPhone.

As for SOAP, you are on your own. You might be able to find an open source SOAP library built on top of libxml2. Good luck.

Yes iPhone Support Support for XML-RPC and open source Wordpress is the best example of this, but in terms of performance, I have to say that JSON is better to use with an iPhone application,
