Eclipse: hide paths in Open Resource dialog box

Question

Is there a way to determine if the "Open Resource" dialog box should be displayed in Eclipse?

If you work with svn, you do not want * .svn files to be displayed. (I know there is a fix for this, but is there a more general one?)

In the upper right corner of "Open Resource" there is a small blue arrow. Click "Select a working set." Create a new working set as needed to include what you need

You can mark files as “received”, although this may take a long time depending on their directory structure. See my answer to this question .
