How to cancel a trip to TFS for former employees

Question

On our TFS source management server, a large number of source files are checked by people who are no longer in use.

Is there a central way by which I can uncheck all files in TFS?

I'm not even sure that they already exist in Active Directory.

It is best to remove the workspace using the command line tool (tf.exe) or TFS Sidekicks from Attrice .

There are command line tools that can do this.

However, I find the sidekicks tool much easier to use (it is free and stable.)

You can easily cancel the check. There's a lot more that makes it well worth the installation.
