How can I charge a monthly subscription for my site?

My business is setting up online billing with PayPal and Google Checkout. I am looking for the best way to charge a monthly subscription for my site. My site is subscription based and I charge X the amount of dollars per month. I want to pay a customerโ€™s credit card every month for this monthly fee. The subscriber on the site knows that this is a constant monthly service charge at registration.

I am looking for the fastest, easiest, best, most reliable way to charge this recurring fee. I would prefer that the monthly fee is displayed only on their monthly credit card statement, as well as on my services, which I use as Slicehost.

Google Checkout does not currently support recurring billing, but is located on the Feature Suggestions page.

PayPal supports Recurring payments manually or through its API.

I highly recommend using the PayPal API, as it is simple, well-documented, and you can easily test everything on your non-production sites using the PayPal Developer Website .
