What does "Nuke" mean in DotNetNuke?

An employee asked me how the word "Nuke" refers to CMS? Honestly, I never thought about it, and there was no information on the Internet that I could find.

Francisco Bourzi wrote that his Perl script, which he used to manage content, was called NUKE. His knowledge of this system fueled his adaptation of this software to phpNuke.

Does anyone know what NUKE means and how it relates to content management?

The term Nuke begins with phpNuke and subsequent forks, such as PostNuke. dotnetNuke just accepted the term from php version.

I do not know why phpNuke was named as such, but google to the rescue!

in short: "The name has been taken from Nuke's Francisco username since he was a cracker"

From faq ( http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Knowledge/FrequentlyAskedQuestions/tabid/546/Default.aspx )

"The new name was chosen to reflect the .NET application (DOTNET) framework and in combination with the term" nuclear weapons "(due to the * recognition of the industry in several existing open-source portal initiatives.)"

Microwaves produce junk food. So he chooses phpnuke because the other choice was junkphp ?

Crazy :-)

I heard that this is related to the term slang for using a microwave. Using a CMS adds the convenience of updating a website in a similar way, since using a microwave is much faster and easier than using a real oven. But these are just rumors.
