Does anyone have development experience for Minix?

I recently became interested in learning about the Minix OS. http://www.minix3.org/

I really like the descriptions of its reliability and reliability functions, but I noticed that various software packages are available for the platform.

Has anyone here developed software for (or ported software) Minix? Anything unexpected in the process?

Minix 3 is the new version; LINUX was requested in the original Minix.

Minix is really best suited for small embedded systems. If you have an old x86 computer, it should work with a mini-game, which gives you an environment very similar to what we called the “amazing workstation” in the mid-80s.

I liked programming in this environment; I would say go for it, but remember that this is an experimental environment, not what you want for your everyday system.

Cyclic scheduler and such as nano, SSH connection can be used to encode on new models and send files. Minix is a great way to learn the basics of operating systems.
