Is there a RAD for asp.net?

I have created websites using classic ASP, ASP.NET web forms, and most recently ASP.NET with ExtJS. However, I always felt that I had to do a lot of hard work and that there was no real joy until the application was mature enough.

I only looked briefly at RoR and Django, but they look like a step in the right direction. Does anyone think they have an equivalent combination of .net technologies for building websites fast?

EDIT: I wanted to stay with the basic tools (such as open source or "low cost") that work with ASP.NET. I was also interested in the quick configuration / configuration of the framework, since in my current project a lot of source codes (my) were used to get it in the RAD state.

You can try jQuery + ASP.NET MVC + Linq2SQL.

It is a good combination for RAD. Or you can change linq2SQL Subsonic

Well, asp.net is much more RAD than having to program the socket interface and handle the web requests yourself. I think this is a matter of perspective. I am still waiting for a device that I can plug directly into my brain and pull out all the software that I can think of. That would be RAD. :-)

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but based on what others are posting, this is a more mature product:
