What is the best tool to install MSI?

I am using WIX at the moment, but continue to run into limitations (for example, the ability to extend properties as a value of another property). Also not sure if I encountered an error with the FileSearch element because it is not working properly (cannot find a file that definitely exists). I can go the way of using custom actions built into the dll, but just wondering if there is a beter way.

I think the best tool (maturity, features, documentation, ease of use) is currently AdvancedInstaller . I usually do not recommend commercial tools, but it is really good value for money.

They also have a free version for basic needs.
