Where is the documentation for the standard ASP.NET MVC ModelBinder?

It seems that I canโ€™t find reliable, up-to-date (i.e. for version 1.0) documentation about the capabilities of the standard mediator in ASP.NET MVC, especially regarding the binding of complex objects including collections (and the requirements for the names that they place in HTML- form)

I found a blog post from Phil Haack ( http://haacked.com/archive/2008/10/23/model-binding-to-a-list.aspx ), but he has a note at the top to say it will be updated. There was also a useful answer here: Custom Binder for complex complex HELP objects , but I could not understand how he knew it.

This page: http://www.asp.net/learn/mvc/#MVC_ActionFilters is called "Action Filters and Model Bindings", but only the actual one contains information about the filters.

Am I reduced to reading the source or buying a new book, The Forehead Gang (and hoping it is better than other Wrox books that I allowed to buy in the past?) Or did I miss a good link somewhere?
