Custom MapPoint Map Drawings in C #?

My application requires a card on disk, because during operation there will be no Internet access. I somehow decided to use MapPoint 2009, but the style of the "map" really encounters the appearance of the user.

I am wondering if it is possible to somehow customize everything on the map (roads, labels, etc.)? It seemed to me that there might be some themes in the MapPoint application, but now I do not have it at hand :(

I would prefer to use the WPF method, but actually everything in this paragraph helps :)

I do not believe that the MapPoint COM API provides any way to override the default rendering. You can add your own objects from above (through shapes, etc.), but I do not believe that he will do exactly what you ask.

The only C # mapping structure I know about this will be SharpMap v2 . The plans were to provide a WPF rendering stack in addition to the current GDI +.

No, basically. The most you can do is add push contacts, lines, shapes, etc. There is a usenet forum (microsoft.public.mappoint) that can have more, but I can pretty much guarantee that the answer is no.

The only map styles available are those available in the GUI. For example. there is a view at night, etc. Label font size can also be changed

MapPoint 2010 adds some additional styles regarding what is displayed. Each class of objects (rivers, large cities, medium-sized cities, interstate, etc.) can be turned off / normal / all. Along with the font size and general theme, these parameters can be controlled using the API.
