Weather for a specific date?

Is there a weather api that supports weather forecasting for a specific date (or date range)?

In my application, I need to show the weather today, but last year. From today, I can store weather data in the database, and next year I will be able to show data for last year. But these are not "sexual" decisions.

Any ideas?
