Software Development Analysis

What do you think of Mr. King's software development analytics at http://devadept.com/ ?

I ask because reading his blog made me rethink how I should be coding software. I mean, I used to do only what the project was doing, but I think that maybe something is missing and his blog makes me feel like that.

Am I just a programmer, a gaming software architect? I don’t know, but one thing is certain, and it was his blog that made me want to become a better coder and architect.

Yeah !!!! Finally he started blogging again. I thought it was great how Ivan caught a mistake at one of his posts, and he kindly thanked him and called him his pair from a distance of 10,000 kilometers. This guy, Eric King, is not only a good developer, but he also has a very interesting sense of humor. Looks like a cool guy - I need such a couple, we have people at my work who do The Daily WTF per day !!!!

This is the goal of the blog, so you feel inadequate, so you want to get better. I know the effect that he has on me.

Based on the fact that I saw little on his website, he seems to have the right sensitivity, which is to use tools to simplify rather than complicate.

He also has a shot in the mug.

This is an interesting read, but the most striking part for me was a link to the concept of "Technical Debt." This is the most intriguing.

He has a good way to present tips and refer to links as part of a review of how he solved (or met) problems.
