How can I encode Android with J2ME?

As I know, an Android application can only be developed mainly in Java. But is it possible to encode Android with J2ME? Please provide some sample codes.

Download Android J2ME MIDP RUNNER :

This is an Android J2ME MIDP RUNNER, so ANY J2ME or MIDP applications can work unchanged.

So, theoretically, you just create a J2ME application and make sure it works.

I would suggest using the Android framework to create applications for it. The J2ME runner is incomplete and will always be incomplete. Google is not going to guarantee that this J2ME project is supported in future releases, and it may just stop working with any firmware update.

Keeping this issue aside, you'd better use the completely different and better elements of the applications that Android provides than limit yourself to what is provided with this J2ME runner.

The open source license at www.microemu.org seems to indicate that you can even include its code in a commercial application.
