How can reading be canceled reading?

I programmatically “read” emails using WebDav. I also delete these letters when I have finished my journey with them, however this causes an interesting problem. Each time I delete an email, the original sender receives an unread response. I logged into Outlook Web App and checked the option "Do not automatically send a response, but this does not seem to help."

Is there a way to remove a receipt request from an email before deleting it?

We decided that we did not want to make any changes to our server, and the solution that could be implemented in my existing program would be the most ideal.

I read on several sites if the message was marked as read through IMAP commands on the exchange server, which was not sent when receiving / opening through the client application (Outlook Web App or Outlook). Here's what we did:

I went to the email server via IMAP

. LOGIN user@mailserver.com password

Selected folder for processing

 . SELECT Inbox

Made changes to all letters in the folder

 . STORE 1:* flags \SEEN

This sequence marks all emails in the inbox as read, which allows my program to delete emails after processing without generating a receipt.
