Can I remove an application from the settings application?

Previous versions of my application used the Settings.bundle method to control some user settings in the application of (external) parameters. I am done with it now, but I would like to remove the registration application so that old users who have updated do not have a useless entry in their settings application. Any idea if this is possible? Thanks.

Delete the Settings.bundle file and go to the trash, empty all the targets, then build and go.
