I am working on a quick application for my church to help with their registration services. At the moment, they record the service using protols (especially for LE 6.5), start the compressor, normalizer and limiter on the track and export it as wav.
Before I helped them, they used another tool to split this audio file into 5-minute sections for burning to CD as tracks. To help them with this, I wrote a tool in python that splits audio into tracks for them. This saves about 10-15 minutes of manual editing.
However, I want to improve this. I want to make it friendly enough to just drag and drop the file to do all our processing.
I was looking at the ADC documentation, but nothing really jumps out. I would rather write this in cocoa / objc (as a training project). What parts of the structure should I use for separation, is it possible to apply sound effects (perhaps using Coreaudio?), And where will the api be?
Thank you for your help!
