Django interface options for editing admin interface

Question

Is there a good way to customize application settings in a Django admin?

Basically, I would like to have nice forms when the site owner can easily edit information such as his contact information, text content on the first page, etc. Like the normal model admin interface, but limited to only one undeletable item in the model.

The third-party django-dbsettings project is ideal for this.

I think django constance is the way to go. Live and compatible with django 1.4.

I looked at dbsettings and loved what I saw, but I really need a more centralized organized system. So I built django-appsettings . Enjoy :)
