Can I use Panda3D inside a wxPython application?

I am developing a wxPython application. Will it be possible to embed 3D animation driven by Panda3D inside gui?

Bonus Question: Do you think Panda3D is the best choice? (My interest is physical modeling, and no, I don’t need an engine that supports physics, my program is responsible for computing physics, I just need an engine to show it well.)

Yes. The Panda3D wiki has a link using wxPython to handle GUI responsibilities .

There are also some Panda3D ( 1 , 2 ) forum topics that may help.

Another popular choice for Python modeling visualization is VPython; it also attaches to wx .
