WPF Adorner Transforms

Question

I create a control where the user can "draw" the resizable rectangles that lie above the content. To resize these rectangles, I use Adorner on top of them, which contains 4 Thumbs, to resize the rectangle.

The problem is that this control is “scalable,” which means that the ScaleTransform is applied to the entire control depending on the scaling factor. These Thumbs at Adorner also affect this ScaleTransform.

But I need them to keep their size, regardless of the scaling factor. I tried putting Adorners in a layer of another non-transformed control instead of a rectangle layer, but that didn't work. How can I achieve this?

I also found this question on MSDN: How to exclude scaleTransform from GeneralTransform in the GetDesiredTransform Adorner method. This is good because there are some sample code.
