Cross-platform VNC client library?

Does anyone know of a good cross-platform VNC client library (end of viewer)?

I am not terribly picky about the language, but I would prefer something with C ++ or Python. I need it to work on Linux, Mac and Windows.

The libvncclient that ships with libvncserver is C and cross-platform: https://github.com/LibVNC/libvncserver

RealVNC has a Java Viewer (Java - cross-platform), which is included in the free version, but I'm not sure about the license. Other VNC solutions may have something similar.

Edit: I found that thightvnc.com has a Java viewer that seems to be licensed by the GPL. See: http://www.tightvnc.com/download.html
