What is an army test of robots? Where is it used? How can I find out?
I'm not sure if it exists. There's Rational Robot, an automated test recording and playback tool, but you have to buy it. However, I still have not heard about the tests of the Robot army, although I agree with Nick - it sounds AMAZING :)
The only mention I can find in it, anyway:

Maybe it is also known as MBT (Model Based Testing)?
If so, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model-based_testing for information on this and some useful links to tutorials, etc.
Hope this helps!
If “Robot Army Testing” you want to build a set of automated tests on a large scale (for example, xUnit on steroids), then this presentation provides a useful introduction. It is also known as model-based testing.

As uberRouse notes, using randomly generated values in testing is interesting. I first met this in 2005. It was a tool called Agitator from Agitar Software that ran hand-written unit tests and expanded in scope, connecting in random values and edge cases.
This term is not included in WikiPedia. All, at least, a little popular technology appears there quickly. Are you sure you are not mistaken?
Robot Framework maybe? We use it, and it's great!
Here is a link to my blog page about an interview set on the topic “Ethical and Legal Aspects of Unmanned Systems”. The latest interview with Developer's Perspectives generally describes (a review) the great testing process and “acceptable deployment” of intelligent autonomous military robotic systems. Please note that you can either order a print publication or immediately download a PDF file.

By the way, this sounds like testing DDOS on a website;)
