Any own ZIP / Packaging for .NET3.5

Question

I am looking for a Zip / Unzip operation in my .NET application. I see many third-party implementations, but is there one part of the .NET platform?

Or let me tell you exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe I just need to pack the folder and you need to provide a specific extension.

The J # library (no longer supported) includes zip / unzip routines. Be careful with gzip as it is a single-file compression stream and has no idea about files or directories. Some people have reported (limited) success with cabarc tools, but they are not .NET.
