Exploring AJAX HTTP Requests Using Web Inspector

Is there an easy way to check HTTP GET / POST / OPTIONS / HEAD etc. queries made by jQuery ajax calls using WebKit Web Inspector? I manually process the answers and look for an easy way to track the movement back and forth.

The Resources tab will display the Request / Response headers and the response itself. Have you been looking for something else? Using Sort by Startup Time is probably the most useful option for viewing new queries.

You can also use Firebug (Firefox plugin) or a sniffer like Wireshark ( here are some filters for Wireshark).

I'm not sure if the WebInspector is designed to do what you ask.

I am using tcpTrace from PocketSoap. I installed my web browser to use tcpTrace as a proxy. It records all traffic going back and forth. Its pretty smooth.
