How to exchange objects between domain services in the WCF RIA Services infrastructure?

Question

If I created a large WCF RIA Services application with several domain services, how could I have certain entities that are shared by these domain services and exposed in a different context. For example, I could have a Cutomer object that is displayed both with orders and with the loyalty modules / domain services. At least my own experiments with [ExternalAttribute] and others seem to indicate that this is not well supported by the map.
