Full online link for the standard C library?

Do you have a link to an online link that fully describes the C (99) standard library?

When I say, describe, I mean that I can keep open and refer to im encoding.

I am looking for something according to the DevGuru ECMA script Link , but for the standard C library.

The standard you are looking for ISO / IEC 9899 , available from ISO at a low price of 352 Swiss francs. I like to have a standard around, it pays to have an authoritative version, especially when working with a cross-compiler. No matter what you do, do not use Google for C99.pdf, as this may result in the downloading of your copies.

For reference, I like to refer to the Open Group POSIX standard , which also lets you know what the POSIX extension is and what the ISO C99 is.

Here is the C library reference guide (for C90). I like this one because of this website design, "Enjoy excellent / less filling."

There are three sources of information that I can point you in the direction of:

  • n843.pdf ( here is the C99 standard)
  • C FAQ ( here )
  • C API (as defined by opengroup here )

Hope this helps, Regards, Tom.

I am using PDF from the official home of ISO / IEC JTC1 / SC22 / WG14 - C.

Press 9899: C programming language , and you can download for free "the latest draft of the revised C99 standard."
