Yum install php-pear * on centos

I try to install a pear on my centers.

I used "* yum install php-pear **" to install the pear, and it seemed to be successful. No mistakes. I am restarting my server.

However, when I check phpinfo (). I see that my php is still built using "--without-pear".

Shouldn't Yam rebuild my php with a pear? What could be wrong?

Thanks!

Try something like

$ pear list

and

 $ pear info PEAR

- now, if you get a list of installed packages in the first case and information about which version of the pear is installed, the second is ready for use.

The output of phpinfo() correct; the binary was built without PEAR. Fortunately, it does not matter. Browse through the sections below to find out what is currently available.

yum doesn't restore anything. It downloads the necessary software modules and installs them on your computer. Your stock of centos php has no rough pre-compilation, but it can still use the pear after loading your modules.

If you can’t start the pear, make sure that the executable is included in your path or use β€œfind” to find it.

You still need to configure PEAR, have you checked the PEAR site ?

Solved, I installed these packages and restarted the server.

Try this yum install php-pear php-gd php-pear-DB -y reload the httpd service.

working
