Silverlight problem with Firefox 3.6?

I recently upgraded my firefox to 3.6, and the Silver Light app in my web app has weird behavior.

There is no button click in the silverlight application, it just gives it focus, and if we are “TAB”, we can get a click. But this is not like the previous behavior in FF 3.5.7. Very inconvenient for unsuspecting users.

This will definitely be a pain for customers upgrading to FF 3.6 since they did not know why the button does not work. I believe this also influenced the Silverlight storefront site.

I wanted to know if there were any updates in this regard. I want this fixed as soon as possible. I can only offer my clients update / migrate FF update, for now.

You can check if there is a laid div over the silverlight area.? That’s all I can think of without seeing an example.

I did not see the problem you mention, but Silverlight and FF 3.6 definitely have problems. My application, when it focuses, FF displays vertical and horizontal scrollbars for the entire window.

The same application in IE8 and Chrome, no problem.

try it

a: focus, object: focus {scheme: no; }

The problem is described here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/564700

however, what I cannot fix is the flickering of the screen when there is a browser scroll bar (resizing the window to the minimum size) and scrolling up and down.

I don't know if this is related, but I recently installed firefox 3.6.6. (this was the first time firefox was installed on this machine). I am running SL4. Now my Silverlight application will not start at all ...

The xap file loads because I get to the login screen, but then it crashes when the error "plugin-container.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

This app works great in previous versions of firefox.

Does anyone else have this problem?
