Creating a chart in an Excel spreadsheet using NPOI

I know that my question will be very similar to others that have already been asked on SO, but since I cannot find a satisfactory answer, I try my luck!

Does it know if it is possible or not to create charts in an Excel spreadsheet using the NPOI library.

I read that blog , but it gives an example when an existing template already exists. Is it possible "from scratch"?

Unsupported Features: Excel Chart

as Lenel explained on his blog, we need to use the main spreadsheet as a template.

Another solution for creating a chart without automation is to use third-party components, for example, this SmartXLS for .Net , it can create a / pivottable chart from scratch.
