Where should I place the screenwriter

I am planning to rebuild the code of one asp.net project for another asp.net project.

but I am stuck where ...

I dragged the main page and submissions (4 n.o.) to the main page.

now i need to remove the scriptmanager .. where do i need to drag this?

  • inside the multivisor
  • outside multiview
  • internal view? if so, what kind? view 1? view 2? view 3? view 4?

What does the script manager actually do?

I would put ScriptManager at the top of the main page outside of any Multi-View. ScriptManager is what Microsoft controls use to provide AJAX functionality.

Thomas's answer is correct, I would like to add that it is more specific that placing the ScriptManager directly below the main page form tag is the best place:
