I use Nhibernate as an OR / M tool for an asp.net application, and the launch performance is really frustrating. Part of the problem, of course, I am in my understanding, but I tried an honest bit (understanding, of course, improves), and I still do not get anywhere.
Currently, the ANTS profiler has that Configure () takes 13-18 seconds and BuildSessionFActory () takes about 5 seconds. From what I read, these times can be pretty good, but they mostly talked about hundreds and hundreds of matching objects ... this project has only 10.
I combined all the mapping files into a single hbm mapping file and this improved the situation, but only as long as mentioned above ...
I think there are any "Traps for young players" that are regularly skipped ... obvious "I did this / did you include this file / xml file x or z" etc ...
I will try to serialize the configuration thing in order to avoid the Configure () stage, but I feel that this part should not be so long for this number of entities and therefore essentially will hide the current problem ...
I will send the source code or configuration if necessary, but I'm not sure what to actually deliver ...
thanks heaps!

I will also add that once this is completed, each page will be very fast ...
