You need to let InstallShield know that you want to reboot .
How? : on the tab "Installation Designer" → "Behavior and Logic '->' Custom Actions and Sequences' -> 'Sequences' ->' Installation '->' Execute '->' ScheduleReboot 'set the value of the" Conditions "to" NOT REMOVE "(with non-converted commas) if you want the reboot to happen after installation and" REMOVE "if after uninstall.
So, until now, after installing / uninstalling, the installer showed a warning message something like "... click" OK "to restart the computer or cancel to restart later ...", Now, if you do not want to show this warning message, even take step 3.
