The difference between MVC1 and MVC2

Question

• What is the difference between MVC1 and MVC2?

• Is everything in MVC1 also in MVC2? I ask this question because there is a debate in my place. We can find resources and books on MVC1, but not on MVC2. Should we use MVC1 in our portal ?.

• Is AJAX functionality implemented in Web Forms for MVC2 as MVC1? Are there any restrictions in MVC2 and MVC1? (Is it possible to do everything that can be done using AJAX in Web Forms MVC1, in MVC2?)

3) Yes. MVC is much better suited for AJAX or any client-side script, in my opinion.
