WPF Remove excess space at the bottom of the ListBox

Question

I get a lot of space under my custom list if I add an item with multiple lines of text. What can I do to solve this?

You are currently scrolling an element by element.

The problem is that Test 5 in your list is the next item to be displayed (and it is larger than the empty space indicated in the picture you included). Only after this space is large enough to fully display test 5 will it really be shown.

However, if you want smooth scrolling instead of scrolling through an element, simply set the ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll property to false.

 VirtualizingStackPanel.IsVirtualizing="True" VirtualizingStackPanel.ScrollUnit="Pixel"
