Best PHP Time Zone List

Question

I looked at the list of PHP supported time zones , but the whole list is a bit longer to include in the drop-down menu so the user can select their time zone. Is there a list with the main city / area that can be used?

My geography is terrible and adds that, not knowing the whole area, and what time zone they fall into it, it can be a long day to build the list yourself!

Group locations by time zone, which you can do programmatically.
