How to add icons and intentions to the QuickContactBadge menu for my Android program?

I am writing a program to add a new way of communication on Android, such as MMS / SMS or SIP phone.

Is there a way to add an icon to the QuickContactBadge menu when I click on a contact photo in the Contacts application?

I was not able to fully understand how this works from Android sources ... Is the list of icons filled only with the mime type found in the contact data?

Thanks,

Laurent

Yes, it is based on the mime type in contact.

The QuickContact list is built from the MIME types associated with the contacts. Data records, as far as I know, is it possible for your application to appear in the quality control list without adding an entry to the data table using the synchronization provider ...

There is an open source project that allows you to implement your own QuickActionBar, see: http://code.google.com/p/devoquickaction/

He is very similar to his own. Just in case, working with or adding mime types is not what you mean, and you want to add your own individual set of icons / actions to the contact.
