Dependency problem in m2eclipse

I have a problem with m2eclipse and Nexus. Usually, when you create a new Maven project in Eclipse, you can select Archetype, for example, maven-archetype-quickstart from the Nexus indexer. Unfortunately, the Nexus Indexer shows nothing. But the worst part of all this is that the "Add Dependency" menu does not work. (For a better understanding: by clicking on the "Dependencies" tab, you can usually click the button to enter groupId or artifactId. This is the menu I'm talking about. If I enter, for example, "junit", this does not show the search results.) Does anyone know this problem? How can i fix this?

Thanks for the million for any help.

By default, ui shows an internal index, select the drop-down list and select the Nexus index if you haven’t. Otherwise, did you publish the index from Nexus?

I had the same problem and thought it was a bug in the m2eclipse plugin. But I found another explanation and solution: http://forums.jfrog.org/Artifactory-and-m2eclipse-Unable-to-update-index-for-remote-repos-td5899455.html
