Profiler for Zend Server (Zend Debugger)

I am looking for a PHP profiler that works with Zend Server (CE). From what I can tell, XDebug is a pain to configure with Zend Server. Although Zend Debugger is free (as I understand it), Profiler only works in Zend Studio.

Any other options?

I wish I could make Zend Studio, as the profiler component is pretty nice.

XDebug ( standalone advice ) may be your only option, unfortunately.

Do you have the opportunity to upgrade to Zend Server 5 Professional? The code tracking feature will help you with profiling. Or did you look at PQP or DBG for Eclipse?

I would like to help. The company I work with uses Zend Server for all deployments, and engineers have Zend Studio.

A late answer, but it may still be convenient for those who find this question through a search (like me).

I have Zend Server CE and PHPStorm in my Windows configuration, and also want to profile some pages. It turned out that over time, it is simply built into PHPStorm! With an explanation on this page: http://devnet.jetbrains.net/thread/432088 it was very easy to get it and run it.

PHPStorm is not free (this applies to people who are engaged in open source development), but its prices are absolutely affordable and within a few days come back to increase productivity.

You should consider the Semantic Designs PHP Profiler .

No XDEBUG installation required. It does not require special configuration of your server. Works with huge PHP applications.
