IIS 7.5 receives emails?

Question

In the good old days, with IIS 6, you could use SEOLib to make a managed hook in the SMTP service, which will run whenever mail is delivered.

In Vista and W7, they stopped shipping SEOLib, so we can no longer develop it.

What is a replacement for this feature?

And, perhaps, . It seems that the SMTP architecture has been revised in IIS 7 and Exchange 2007.
