Emacs: mouse addiction mitigation

In Emacs, how to emulate a mouse click, etc. using the keyboard? For example, with CEDET Semantic (included in GNU Emacs 23.2.1), you can right-click to provide a menu; how can I make this menu, and others, with the keyboard, appear as a tooltip or in the a la M-`minibuffer, which allows you to access the menu bar?

You can find out which command is executed by clicking with the mouse using Ch k (describe-key), and then click in the appropriate place. Then you can associate this with something on the keyboard.

This is not exactly what you are asking for, but you can use it to achieve the same for all the clicks you need.
