Good postgresql client for windows?

returns to postgresql after several years of oracle ...

What is the modern version of postgresql administrator / ddl for generating / pasting data into windows? it would be nice if he had integration for postgis. it should be standalone or, alternatively, a plugin for an intellectual idea

thinking backwards, all the postgresql-specific window programs that I used were crap, especially PGAdmin. if it got better?

I like Postgresql Maestro . I also use their version for MySql. I am very pleased with their product. Or you can use the free PgAdmin tool.

Heartily recommended dbVis . The client runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux and supports many database servers, including PostgreSQL.

I highly recommend Navicat. What I found particularly excellent are the import functions - you can import almost any data format (Access, Excel, DBF, Lotus ...), define a mapping between the source and destination, which can be saved and repeated (I even I support displays under version control).

I tried SQLMaestro and found that it was buggy (especially for importing data); PGAdmin is limited.

EMS SQL Manager is much easier to use and has many other features than phpPgAdmin or PG Admin III. However, these are only windows, and you have to pay for it.

SQLExplorer is a great Eclipse plugin or standalone interface that works with many different database systems, either with dedicated drivers or with ODBC.
