How to set default values ​​(language and keyboard) for Android AVD (SDK 2.1 and 2.2)

I recently upgraded to Android SDK 2.1 and 2.2, but AVD is always displayed with active Chinese and Japanese characters. I can go to Settings to remove these options, but it becomes a pain. How can I set default values ​​for the language and keyboard to avoid this problem?
